Snorkeling & Kayaking at the Pristine Resort & Beach
No need to pack your own snorkel gear when the Pristine Resort & Beach has fins, snorkels, and masks for guests to use on our beach. We offer Kayaks for one or two to enjoy off our shores. Our friendly staff are happy to lend these to you, help you find the right fit, and give you some tips on snorkeling the fringes of Long Reef; which is just a few yards off shore. Check with our front desk for more information.
Turtle Watch (seasonal)
Each spring, the endangered giant Leatherback, the small green turtle, and the distinctive hawksbill turtles emerge from the sea, scoop out the sand, and lay their eggs. In the months that follow, thousands of two-inch turtles make a mad dash to the sea. During summer months, guests can participate in periodic nighttime turtle watches, sponsored by the St. Croix Environmental Association. This activity is based on space availability and, of course, depends on the turtles!
For everything St. Croix has to offer outside of our hotel, please see our St. Croix Recreation page.
